BlackBerry Privacy Shade App Allows You To Hide Your Screen From Others

If you are anything like me, you probably don't like the idea of someone being able to peep over your shoulder and look at your phone screen.... Which is why Blackberry have developed a new app which protects one's privacy.

The new app, which is called Privacy Shade app allows Blackberry users to reduce the brightness of their screens, sorta of like an on and off switch.

The creators of the app go on to further explain,

[The] Privacy Shade [allows you] to control the visibility of sensitive content. View and send sensitive content while in the open without letting others around you see your private information. Use Privacy Shade to only expose the exact area you’re reading or typing in. Adjust the transparency of the shade to suit your environment.

I don't mean to overstate the obvious, but for now, the app is only available to Blackberry users 😞.

What do you think about this guys? Do you think this sorta of app should be be copied like snapchat made available on other smartphone users?
