BRT Buses Now Allow You To Connect To Their Wifi For Free

Free Internet Wifi On BRT Lagos

BRT Passengers commuting within Lagos, Nigeria will now be able to enjoy free internet wifi thanks to Primero Transport Services Limited.

The Managing director of Primero, Fola Tinubu, who introduced the idea earlier this year has also stated that an e-ticketing system for commercial passengers will also be introduced before the end of the year.

During a meeting with the Lagos State council of Trade Union Congress (TUC), Tinubu told the congress,
“This service will be at no cost to the passengers. It is the kind of thing you experience in some developed economies around the world, and we believe Primero can pioneer it in Lagos,”
“Our plan is also to reduce interface with the ticket sellers as much as possible. I want to see a situation where 90 to 95 percent of passengers can buy their tickets online. What this will do is that it will reduce the queues at the bus stops.”
