How To Save Videos, Photos, and Documents to Dropbox

Dropbox_How_to_nairaland

Recently someone on Nairaland asked me how Dropbox works in terms of uploading and retrieving files. I immediately directed the person to a blog post I had written not too long ago. Today how I am here to tell you how you can save files into Dropbox.

To start with you must have a valid email address, a laptop and a smartphone.

Log on to dropbox.com and sign up.

Shortly after that, you will be prompted to download the Dropbox software application onto your laptop. After this log into the application using the details, you provided earlier.

Next, if you have an Android go into the app store and download and 'Dropbox' or if you have an iPhone go to the App store and download 'Dropbox'. Again, log in using the information you provided earlier and you are good to go.

If you want to transfer files from your computer into Dropbox, all you have to do is drag the file from your computer onto the Dropbox icon and that's pretty much it. Your file sync into the app. Yay!

Likewise, if you want to save photos, documents or videos from your phone device onto Dropbox all you have to do is look through the different sending options on your handheld device and you should be able to find it.

FYI: I am not being sponsored to write this post. I just really like Dropbox. I mean what is there not to like about it?

Let's say for instance you download Dropbox onto your phone to save your photos, videos and other stuff. If your phone dies and you have to buy a new one. you just download Dropbox again onto your new phone. You enter your password and email address that you used in registering for Dropbox and all your files will be retrieved. It's really simple.
