Etisalat Introduces New Unlimited Data Plan Package

Using the internet at times in Nigeria can be a struggle....

Which is why just months after Etisalat discontinued their unlimited data plans, they have a now introduced some new timely based unlimited data bundle packages called BlazeOn.

As expected the new packages do come with a catch...

For 10 minutes of data time - N50
For 15 minutes of data time - N70
For 30 minutes of data time - N120
Or opt for 1 hour plan of data time at N200 .

Adeolu Dairo, who serves as The Director, Consumer Segment, Etisalat Nigeria, said during a recent interview with The Guardian,

“Most Internet users in Nigeria don’t know how much mobile data they consume while browsing or streaming. BlazeOn, our time-based data plan addresses this situation, as it redefines the purchase experience for our customers and empowers them to buy Etisalat Easyblaze data plans in minutes and hours.

To enjoy any one of these plans, text “blazeon” to 229. Alternatively, download the BlazeOne app from the Google Play Store today.

  1. Weh don Etisalat. I see you're still fighting strong.

    If you'd ask me,
10 minutes of data time for N50, 15 minutes of data time for N70, 30 minutes of data time for N120, makes no sense.

An average Nigerian who goes to a internet or cyber cafe spends minimum of 30 minutes on desktop surfing, yet never gets satisfied.

So, spending 120 Naira buying any of these unlimited plan doesn't worth it.

You shouldn't also neglect the percentage of Nigerians who still use 2G and 3G Network.

    1. You hit the nail right on the head with your comment. The only price plan that still seems pretty reasonable is the N200, I guess they are trying to be "budget friendly" which is why they have spilt everything up.
